Who is Ivor from The Golden Notebook?

Ivor is one of Anna's boarders. Over the course of his time in her home, Ivor talks Anna into letting Anna rent to one of his friends for free. In return, Ivor helps Anna with Janet. Anna asks Ivor and his friend to leave when she comes to understand they are in a homosexual relationship.
