What did Paul think about the music at a club in Chapter Three of the novel, The Glass Hotel?

Paul thought the music at the club he went to that Tim recommended was like some kind of malfunctioning radio. It was all weird bursts of static and disconnected notes. He preferred classical music like Beethoven.
