What does Alice take to the Horner girls in Chapter 11, and what does she get in return?

Alice takes two of the dolls that Mrs. Van Cleve used to collect to the Horner girls for Christmas. Jim Horner cannot take them without giving her something in return, so he gives her the head of a stag that he preserved and stuffed.
