How does Linus Brandell learn that his computers have been hacked?

Franz Balder sends a hacker to Linus Brandell to check out his computer. She has Linus leave his apartment, and then she goes through his computers. When he returns, she tells him that has has a Trojan, a RAT. Then she leaves.
