What is the resolution?

The novel's resolution begins after Brenner, Nowell, and Elizabeth are arrested. Afterward, Cady’s tells her that her father will be alright after his surgery, and that Ty is okay, too. The novel ends three months later, with Ty and Cady enjoying a ski trip and into the lives of normal teenagers. Cady’s parents are building a new cabin where the old one used to be, and Cady and Ty share their first kiss.
