Who is Pastor Warren in the novel, The First Phone Call From Heaven?

Pastor Warren is in his early eighties at the time of the telling of the story. He has been the pastor of the Harvest of Hope Church for almost his whole life. The church has been his life and he has ministered to many generations of families in the area. As the story opens, Warren is fairly complacent and predictable in his routines and beliefs.
