Who is DeVasher from The Firm and what is their importance?

DeVasher is the head of security at Bendini, Lambert and Locke. He communicates with and receives orders from Lazarov Morolto in Chicago. DeVasher carries out those orders, which sometimes include executions. DeVasher also makes sure that the conversations and activities of Bendini employees are followed. He and his team insert microphone "bugs" into the lawyers' homes, cars, and offices.
