Why does Augustus suggest selling Hazel’s swing set in Chapter 8?

Hazel sits in her swing set in the backyard. She thinks about how she'd give anything for a few healthy days of living. When Augustus calls Hazel back, Hazel is crying. Augustus comes over to Hazel's house. To make her feel better, Augustus and Hazel post a classified ad online to sell her "sad" swing set.
