What does Augustus tell Hazel about his treatment in Chapter 13?

Augustus says they started chemo but that he stopped it to come to Amsterdam. That's what he and his mother were arguing about when they picked Augustus up for the airport. He says he felt like it wasn't working anyway and that they'll come up with some other treatment by the time they get to Indiana.
