What differences do you see between Hazel and her friend Kaitlyn in Chapter 3?

While Kaitlyn shops without tiring, Hazel has to stop and rest at various points during the excursion. In a way, Hazel is a lot older than her friends because of what she's had to deal with in her life. This makes Hazel feel distant from girls she once hung out with from school.
