How does everyone care for Antonia after she gives birth to Robbie and how long does it take her to recover?

Antonia has to stay in bed for three weeks after Robbie is born. Paolo, Lina, and Sofia take care of the household chores and bring Antonia the baby when he needs to nurse. Antonia passes the days drifting in and out of sleep even after the three weeks are up. It takes her several months to be herself again so Sofia comes every day.
