What is the importance of Georgia in the book, The Devil You Know: A Black Power Manifesto?

Georgia is a Southern state located between South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, and Tennessee. In 2020, American politician Stacey Abrams organized a large effort to register voters of color in Georgia. Thanks in large part to Abrams’ efforts, Joe Biden won Georgia in the 2020 Presidential election. These events served as a primary inspiration for the ideas that Blow presents in this book.
