Candy Bliss is a private detective. As she works on the Cappadora case, she becomes very close to Beth and seems to have an understanding of her that eludes most people. Candy is a professional police officer with a good head on her shoulders. She is described as an extremely attractive woman, who would love to have a child.

Candy was one of the Cappadora family's strongest supporters, but when Ben shows up, having lived a couple blocks away for years, Candy is very hard on herself. She is unable to forgive herself for not finding him earlier. Candy is later promoted to Chief of Police.
