Who is Mrs. Trapp in the novel, The Cuckoo Sister?

Mrs. Trapp, the Seton's housekeeper, fulfills the role of underscoring the social differences displayed by the household with Rosie in it. Mrs. Trapp is gossipy, protective of her employers and her own status, and highly prejudiced against people of lower-class background.
