Who is Robin Callahan from The Corrections and what is their importance?

Robin Callahan is the wife of Brian and mother of Sinead and Erin. She is from a Teamster family. When her husband comes into money from the sale of his company, she does not want to move from the Philadelphia area, as he does. She begins a philanthropic project for underprivileged children called the Garden Project. Her physical involvement with Denise leads to Denise's dismissal as executive chef of The Generator.
