Briefly describe Mauna Loa.

Mauna Loa is an active Hawaiian volcano. It is one of five volcanoes that form the Island of Hawaii, also known as the Big Island. Over the course of two centuries of recorded history, Mauna Loa has erupted on average every three and a half years.
