Who is Leo?

Leo represents the last connection between Clover’s old life of solitude and grief to the new one of adventure and happiness. Due to their close friendship, Clover has relied on him to help her through years of pain after her Grandpa’s death. So, when she meets Hugo, develops her passion for photography, and decides to move on with her life, Leo’s death gives her that final push she needs to let go. Now, instead of worrying about leaving him alone, she can live for his memory and without regret.
