Because this is a graphic novel, the dialogue is told from the first person point of view of the character who is speaking. In this particular novel, Lorraine, Waddel and Perceval are among the central character so he does most of the speaking. Also because this is a graphic novel, the story is not entirely told through the words, but also through the illustrations. Readers have the benefits of being able to see the characters’ facial expressions to help them determine exactly what a character might be feeling.
