What is the author's style in The Children's Hour by Lillian Hellman?

Hellman;s style works entirely within the limits of the realistic problem play. The Children's Hour is very suited to the box set, with the invisible fourth wall through which an audience witnesses the work in progress. It uses no devices or techniques to dispel the total illusion of that reality.
