Who is Sava from The Broken Cord?

Sava is the second child Michael adopts. After Sava's adoption, Michael finds he has a real gage for comparison in his desire to help Adam overcome his disabilities. Sava's development, which is that of a normal child, illuminates Adam's own deficiencies, which have been caused by fetal alcohol syndrome.
