The narrative is told from Cass’ first person perspective. This is fitting as the narrative is a psychological thriller which focuses on Cass’ psychological problems. In fitting with the genre, she is also the character who must use her mind and skill to overcome her problem. By using the first person narrative, readers are able to see that Cass has more issues than memory lapses.
