In the Battle of the Labyrinth, Percy learns from a Naiad who is guarding her water. She feels bad for Percy and his task so she tells him that there are sea shells in the sand in the stables. Using this, then, Percy summons water from them and they flood the stables, effectively cleaning and clearing them out. Geyron says that Percy cheated and tries to fight him, but in the end, Percy banishes Geyron and they continue on their way.
