Comment on point of view

""The Battle of The Labyrinth" by Rick Riordan is told in the first person point of view of Percy Jackson. The tone is objective. Percy is the main character, and his feelings, thoughts, dreams, and experiences are revealed to the reader. The narrator remains omniscient and never intrudes by directing actions or warning the main character of danger. The narrator just relays events and gives the reader insight into the emotions, responses and feelings of Percy Jackson. The other characters and their reactions are shown objectively and the reader never gets to identify with their inner thoughts unless the thoughts are revealed through action or dialogue.
