In Chapter 73, what do Kate and David think may be the motive for Martin’s death?

Martin was close to a cure. Possibly someone wanted to prevent him from finding a cure. The Immari’s primary goal is to prevent a cure. So whoever is a loyal Immari soldier is probably the one who killed Martin.
