Who is Lord Byron from The Age of Revolution: Europe 1789-1848 and what is their importance?

Lord Byron was British poet and author. He also fought in the revolutionary forces of Italy and Greece. It is through Byron that Hobsbawm successfully connects many of the themes of Romanticism to the revolutionary ideals of the French Revolution.
