What is the author's tone in The Acharnians [and] the Clouds [and] Lysistrata by Aristophanes?

The overall tone of the play is comedic. After the climax, however, it becomes tragic. Note, the way in which we read the play is likely far different than the way it was seen in ancient Greece..... these audiences may have found humor throughout.
