How is FBI Agent Emmanuel described in the novel, The Abduction?

FBI Agent Emmanuel is described as a giant of man. At six-feet, six-inches in height, he literally towers over every crime scene and federal investigation he oversees. He is solemn and not given to small talk. He has a strong feeling of guilt that it was his botched investigation before the story begins that lead to the Falconers' misery.
