What is the WTU?

The WTU is the Warrior Transition Unit. It was created as a unit during the fourth year of Iraq and the 60 years of Afghanistan. The army had 20,000 wounded soldiers, and it realized that they needed a bigger and better system of rehabilitation. There were 32 units built across the country where there would be medical workers, social workers and sergeants to help soldiers heal. By the time the program was recommended to Tausolo, it had become the WTB or Warrior Transition Battalion.
