Although there are so many differences between the men who commit suicide, there are a few things that are clear. Soldiers with repeated deployments are more likely to commit suicide. Married soldiers are less likely to commit suicide. Guns and liquor are a bad combination. Soldiers who have more time at home between deployments are less likely to try to kill themselves. Soldiers who talked about their experiences before going to sleep did better than soldiers who did not.
