Who is Dozerius

Dozerius is a fictional pirate form Tess’ favorite stories and represents a desire for adventure. His stories are an inspiration throughout Tess’ life. They provide an escape that she needs both to survive her childhood and push her to continue on her journey even when it gets difficult. Over time, Dozerius’ life becomes a part of Tess, as she uses his stories to bring others to her cause, and creates a new self based off of the bravery he showed in his work. Eventually, Tess learns to accept herself, but never forgets the pirate that helped her do so.
