Claire is described as a shy and sensitive young lady, who is deeply dependent on boys for her happiness, a need that backfires more than once. Her hurt and anger live on through her diary and through Tom. Claire's pale, ghostlike photograph, her diary, and her presence in the video make it so that Claire haunts the group long after she dies.
