Why is Posthumus banished at the beginning of Cymbeline?

In Cymbeline, Imogen, the British King's daughter, had been raised with Posthumus, the orphan son of a brave and loyal soldier of the king. They fall in love and are secretly married when they come of age. The wicked queen tells the king, and Posthumus is banished to Rome.
