Eventually, Sebastian appears in Illyria and Olivia confesses her love to him, thinking he is Cesario. They decide to wed. The duke discovers that it was Viola, not a page, with whom he had become so close. He realizes her beauty and goodness and asks her to marry him. So under Olivia's roof, both twins marry noble partners.
