Tracey went to a single-sex school in Neasden. There, almost all the girls were Indian or Pakistani. It was a rough school with a lot of fighting. The narrator's school was in Willesden and was half black, a quarter white, and a quarter South Asian. Most of the black students had one white parent. It was milder and more mixed than Tracey's school.
