Who is Biddies from Survivor and what is their importance?

Biddies are all girls in the Creedish Church. Biddies can one day get married if their parents arrange a marriage for them. All other biddies that are not married are baptized at the age of seventeen and sent into the real world to work. They are not allowed to have sex.
