What does the reader find out in the novel's epilogue?

Sunset Limited's Epilogue does little to shed light on the Jack Flynn murder. The narrative gives no evidence that Archer Terrebonne is ever arrested for the murder. Megan Flynn and her brother both leave New Iberia again and life simply continues as before.
