How did Cool Breeze escape from prison?

Alex Guidry says he gave Cool Breeze permission to do some clean-up work. While Cool Breeze swept the workshop, another inmate attempted to kill him. Instead, Cool Breeze killed him first and escaped by riding out of the prison compound in the barrel of a cement mixer.
