After listening to what Rossi and Elvis told him about Green and Kerris, LeCederick begins to cry. He calls himself stupid, saying his mother only ever tried to do the right thing for him. Concerned, Rossi demands that he tell them what he is talking about. LeCederick says that before their visit, LeCederick received a phone call from Kerris, who asked about Mrs. Earle and Mr. Lawrence. Kerris told LeCederick that he needs to get Mrs. Earle's story straight. LeCederick believes him and tells Kerris where his mother and Mr. Lawrence are staying.
