Lola Martin is Scarlett's tall, thin, and beautiful older sister. She dates Chip, a rich guy that Spencer and Scarlett despise, and she loses her job after calling out several times to attend events with him. Lola eventually dumps Chip, but she convinces him to take her, Marlene and their parents out on his boat so Scarlett and Spencer can host the play at the Hopewell.
