What is the history of the blacks from the West Indies compared to the post-war British youth?

The blacks from the West Indies were taken from their native land as slaves and distributed to places colonized by the British, French, and Portugese, to name a few. They were considered outcasts and of low class. After the war, the British youth experienced a sense of power and therefore felt the need to exert this power by creating their own subculture.
