Who is Dr. Wood?

Dr. Wood is Eliana’s therapist. Eliana is reluctant to see a therapist, and she immediately feels like she cannot trust Dr. Wood because she is so skinny. As the narrative progresses, Eliana grows more comfortable with her therapist and begins to open up about how she feels at home and the worries she has regarding her relationship with her mother. Dr. Wood has friends of all sizes and so Eliana feels convinced that she can be honest and open with her.
