Who is Ina from Spin and what is their importance?

Ina is a doctor, who owns a small clinic in a village near Panang. She assists Tyler by letting him use one of the rooms in her clinic while he recovers from the effects of the Martian drug. Ina emigrates to the new planet with Tyler, Diane, and her nephew En, at the end of the novel.
