Ramatoulaye and Aissatou reacted to their co-wives because they were sorry for their ignorance of accepting to become a second wife of a man who has already married. And out of pain of the treatment given to them their husbands. In the line of struggling for feminism, they were sorry for their co-wives. And at the end the co-wives suffered.
