Syfka is the speaker or representative for the Empress Cjarsa. According to mythology, Syfka is one of the original four people kept alive when Maeve sold out to Lebon. Syfka is one of the avian people, so she changes her form between that of a sparrow and a human. She arrives in Zane's land seeking a criminal they believe is hiding there.
