What is Persse's experience when he returns to London to find Bernadette?

When Persse returns to London to "rescue" his cousin, he starts by going back to Soho Square, where the headquarters for Girls Unlimited was. However, the office is gone, replaced by a travel agency, and the employees there claim never to have heard of the company. In fact, no one in the building will admit to ever having heard of Girls Unlimited, much less to knowing where they were now.
