Who is Aileen from Small Steps and what is their importance?

Aileen is a member of Kaira's entourage - specifically, her tour manager. Aileen is responsible for making and supervising travel and accommodation arrangements for the band. Over the course of the novel, we learn that Aillen is having an affair with El Genius, and that the couple is plotting to take Kaira's money.
