Who is Ramesh Sanyal from Sister of My Heart and what is their importance?

Ramesh Sanyal is Sudha's husband chosen by arranged marriage. He, like Sudha, has grown up without a father. Ramesh's mother, however, is very controlling and possessive of her son. Because he realizes Sudha is uncomfortable with him, he suggests on their wedding night that they delay their marital relationship until Sudha is more comfortable.
