Who is Nash?

Nash is Cabell and Tamsin's guardian who adopted them when both were very young. He is a storyteller and has a particular passion for the legend of King Arthur and Avalon. At the very beginning of the novel, Nash goes missing after trying to trade a dagger for the Ring of Dispel which Tamsin assumes he wanted for Cabell. Then, when they find a skeleton with much of Nash's belongings, Tamsin and Cabell assume he is dead. At the end of the novel, however, he returns after seven years, revealing that he was actually looking for a way to break Tamsin's unknown curse.
