Who are The Children of the Night?

The Children of the Night (often called the Children) represent the dark desires and corrupting influence of Lord Death. As beings born from the corpses of Avalonians, each monster shows how little Lord Death cares for life. This is why they are aggressive and mindless creatures who only care about killing for their Lord. Their existence also shows how the decay of Avalon is impossible to escape, and how hope cannot save everyone.
