What is Cabell?

Cabell shows how a deep desire for approval can make someone vulnerable to dark influences. All throughout his life, Cabell tried to bury his curse. He came to believe that he was a monster that could never live a normal life. Yet, all he wanted was someone to believe in him. This is why Lord Death is able to convince Cabell to join his side so easily. This god gave Cabell the approval he craved, and maintaining that connection is what convinces Cabell that the evil he supports is one worthy of his support.
